Tasting Notes
Gorgeous and subtle opening of iron oxide that frames gorgeously tart redcurrrant fruit on the nose. This is followed by a notion of smoke, very subtle. The palate comes in with freshness and segues into seamless elegance. There is a pleasant firmness at the core, and a notions of darker fruit that gives away the fact that this is from a ripe vintage. That ripeness, however, was handled with aplomb and this is a picture of freshness, elegance and beautifully captured fruit, held in a most graceful structure. A.K.
