The white wine Saumur AOC Solera, vintage 1997 from the winery Domaine des Roches Neuves has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chenin Blanc from the region Loire Valley in France.
Bright golden yellow. Underlaid with some nougat, yellow stone fruit, a hint of papaya, delicate beeswax and candied orange zest. Good complexity, juicy, some grapefruit, salty, fresh structure, lemon and lemon balm in the echo, sticks very well, multi-faceted food companion, very individual and complex style.
