The red wine Saumur-Champigny AOC Les Mémoires, vintage 2015 from the winery Domaine des Roches Neuves has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Loire Valley in France.
Strong ruby garnet, purple reflections, brightening to the rim. Delicate nougat, red berry confit, hints of black cherries and candied purples in the background. Juicy, pronounced in fruit, fresh cherries, silky tannins, finesse-rich acid structure, a touch of blueberries, salty touch in the finish, still seems very youthful, DELICATE leafy savouriness in the aftertaste, certain ageing potential.
