Tasting Notes

94 - 96
Tasting from 31.12.2019: Ulrich Sautter

Yeasty, linseed and polenta, subtle woody notes. Très Charlemagne. Limestone nuances swaying in the background. Smoky. On the palate, powerful, a mere hint of reductiveness, tightly structured and compact, with a sturdy composition, the minerality holding the stately structure in balance. An exemplary Corton Charlemagne.
