The white wine Mersault Perriéres 1er Cru, vintage 2021 from the winery Domaine Guy Roulot has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 99 Falstaff points.
Very buttery on first contact, then with fine savoury hints, not yet open, damp limestone. On the palate, the wine is vivid early on, sustained, holding the plateau for a long time, finely chiseled, dense and archetypally chalky, with appeal and length. Finally, an extract-driven astringency builds up. The tactile mineral component remains on the palate for an extremely long on the palate.
