The red wine Côte de Brouilly, vintage 2021 from the winery Domaine Jean Foillard has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser & Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gamay from the region Beaujolais in France.
Wild notes, sponti, cherry stone and sweet cherry, but also a lot of slate, and "electric"-breezy notes. The palate delights with great juicy elegance, adding fine, but also firm tannins to a cheerful, almost lightweight structure. Pure delicacy here, fine acidity and plenty of mineral definition.
