The white wine Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles, vintage 2007 from the winery Domaine Leflaive has been rated in 2010 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Medium green-yellow in colour. Fine citrus notes on the nose, with a hint of herbs and fresh oranges - a very seductive bouquet. Powerful and delicate at the same time on the palate, with hints of white stone fruit and a finesse-rich acidity. There's very good length, lit up by wood spice. A textbook Puligny-Montrachet, with great ageing potential.
