Brilliant, rich ruby colour with a light garnet rim. Very appealing and compact nose, full of rose petals, plum and pomegranate, exciting. Salty and full on the palate, very powerful, but also shows plenty of juicy fruit, opens up with pithy, densely woven tannins, very long finish.
