Tasting Notes

Tasting from 07.10.2022: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Anne Krebiehl

On the nose: spicy new oak, and a true éclat de fruit, wild berries, fresh and clearly iron-mineral tinged, heart cherry, black cherry, wild strawberry and apricot. With air contact also herbal and spicy, a Sardinian macchia. Pepper. The palate starts with force and oiliness, but flows completely juicy and elegant without the slightest hint of the naturally vivid alcoholic power, the tannins are fine and polished, almost Burgundy-like, have nothing massive and yet guarantee a very long life with their density.
