Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby colour, black core, delicate watery rim. Intense savoury notes, pepper, with sweet black berry fruit in the background, a hint of nougat and pipe tobacco, blackberry fruit, multi-faceted bouquet. Complex, dark berries, fine, well-integrated tannins, chocolaty finish, pleasant freshness, pronounced in fruit finish, secure future and certain ageing potential, the difficult vintage was brilliantly mastered.
