The red wine Barolo DOCG Unoperuno, vintage 2018 from the winery Elio Altare has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby. Stony notes on the nose, some graphite, then rich plum fruit, Amarena cherry, also hints of liquorice and mint. Very powerful and compact on the palate, opens on dark fruit, tightly meshed and polished, with powerful tannins, dark elegance, spans a wide range, can age for a long time.
