The red wine Barolo DOCG Unoperuno, vintage 2021 from the winery Elio Altare has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Powerful, dark ruby colour. Inspiring nose with notes of raspberries and wild strawberries, clear and inviting, with some sweet almond paste and fresh leather. Lots of ripe, red berries on the palate, paired with dense tannins, interwoven with sweet texture, long and multilayered, salty on the finish.
