Tasting Notes
Intense ruby colour with a fine garnet sheen. Somewhat restrained nose, shows notes of liquorice, dried porcini mushrooms and lots of leather after aeration, emphasises ripe fruit. Characterised by pithy tannins on the palate, grippy, powerful and with good depth, but appears somewhat brittle overall.
