The wine is quite complex on the nose: noble oak, semi-bitter chocolate, thyme, wormwood and pine. On the palate, it is robust with a rich dose of mealy, mellow tannin; the acidity carries the structure well and contrasts with the supple background. The wine still finishes compact and distinctly textured and mineral. Still extremely young! Definite ageing potential of 25 years or more.
