Again that bright, breezy nose of summer blossom and lemony brightness, More air and temperature allow that chalky soil to shine through. The palate then shows substance despite its slenderness, the chalk is infused with ripe lemon zest and there is real depth. Autolysis is there, but as subtly textural, elegant backdrop. There is exquisite balance and an inherent, bright freshness that will shine for years to come.
