The red wine Esse Syrah Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Fattoria La Torre has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red tending towards garnet. Compact and inviting nose, discreet use of oak is noticeable at first followed by aromas of ripe wild strawberries and raspberries, a breath cherry confit and underlying spicy notes. On the palate, it is elegant, slightly spicy with a harmonious course, showing pleasant freshness and drive through to the balanced, fruit-accentuated finish, will develop and mature well.
