The white wine Altair Bianco Toscana IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Fattoria La Torre has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Vermentino, Viognier from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, radiant straw yellow. Very yellow-fruity, inviting nose of ripe lemon, some banana, light white peach, clearly underlined by a delicate smoky note, complex. Great harmony on the palate, vivid fruit, salty undertone, smooth throughout, spreads beautifully over the tongue, an outstanding Tuscan white wine!
