The red wine Esse Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Fattoria La Torre has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright garnet with cherry red accents. A delicately outlined nose of wild raspberries, black currant with background notes of oregano, wormwood and just slightly of clay. Juicy on the palate with fresh acidity, ripe integrated tannins, fine, precise and long with rich berry fruit - a very balanced wine.
