The red wine Finca Allende Rioja DOCa, vintage 2007 from the winery Finca Allende has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Lots of new oak (cinnamon, clove) and black cherry, and a balsamic note. Highly concentrated on the palate, yet elegant, very savoury, slightly viscous character, relaxed ripe tannins that nevertheless attack powerfully, juicy resolution, mineral oscillation on the finish.
