Tasting Notes
Deep amber in colour, concentrated on the nose with aromas of malt, caramel, orange zest, honey tart and candied fruit. Good balance on the palate, the sweetness is balanced by a lively acidity. Concentrated, with plenty of texture and a long finish. Not quite as brilliant as the Beerenauslese from 1976, but close.
