The white wine »6. Apriles anno 1659« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Fürstlich Castell’sche Domäne has been rated in 2016 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Complex bouquet with fine toast notes, pear slices, undergrowth and sweet peat. Changes continuously and requires a large glass. Carbonic acid-fresh attack with rich fruit and offensive toast spice. A little more patience could be worthwhile. Outstanding substance.
