The red wine Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 2012 from the winery Fuligni has been rated in 2017 by Kiem, Othmar with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with a garnet hue. Very open and inviting nose with notes of cranberries and cherries, some sealing wax in the background. Round and supple initially and when developing, shows a lot of vivid, ripe fruits, finely meshed tannins that unfold elegantly, very long.
