The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Fuligni has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby with garnet glints. Appealing, multilayered nose, a round dance begins with notes of sealing wax, some cranberry, resin and cedar, then juicy plum and raspberry. Polished and round in attack and progression, flows quietly but continuously, opens with fine-mesh tannin, fine texture, finishing with rich raspberry fruit.
