The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Fuligni has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, powerful ruby with a pronounced garnet rim. Opens with slightly malty notes, then ripe plums, some dried porcini mushrooms and tomatoes, multilayered. Opens on the palate with hearty, dense tannins, firm and deep, salty and long on the finish.
