The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Fuligni has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear medium dense ruby with broad garnet rim. Very fragrant and inviting nose, shows lots of fresh fruit with fresh plum and cherry, fine herbal savouriness in the background. Compact and vivid in texture, shows very balanced and clear with well integrated tannin, spreads in long waves, nice juiciness in the flow.
