The red wine tre utin Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Gagliasso has been rated in 2012 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby with garnet shimmer. Very compact and intense nose, lots of dark fruit, blackberry and plum, inviting. Lots of ripe fruit on the palate too, full of plums and cherry jam, some roses, rich and with lots of soft tannins, lingering and salty on the finish.
