The red wine Balisca Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Gagliole has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red with purple. On the nose ripe plum, dates, walnut, some peppermint, in the echo liquorice and dark leather. Chunky on the palate, stretches out with a rich structure, also shows vivid fruit, becomes gripping and slightly drying on the finish, lingers with a clear wood in the aftertaste.
