Bright ruby red with a subtly brighter rim. Dark chocolate and vanilla butter on the nose, with subtle hints of blood orange, blackberry and dried violet blossom. Rich and creamy on the palate, full-bodied with noticeable, somewhat overpowering oak. Still a little young: tannin on the finish, needs patience.
