The red wine Gagliole IGT, vintage 2001 from the winery Gagliole has been rated in 2004 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling ruby-purple; slightly smoky and earthy notes, behind it rich blackberries and cassis; grippy approach and course, shows clear fruit, especially cherry, is at the same time underlaid by a lot of dense tannin, good length.
