The red wine Gagliole IGT, vintage 2004 from the winery Gagliole has been rated in 2006 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby purple; very clear and intense nose, blackberries, some raspberries, fine spicy notes in the background; plays nicely on the palate, intense, crisp cherry fruit, opens up with fine, densely structured tannins, beautiful sweet fruit notes on the finish.
