The red wine Gagliole IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Gagliole has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby violet. Opens on the nose with accentuated herbal spice, lots of cinnamon, then some cardamom, with aeration comes beautiful rich berry fruit. Smooth and clear on the palate in both attack and finish, with fine notes of ripe berries, polished tannins and a rich clove finish.
