Bright ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Exciting nose with notes of dark cherry, some red beet, then rusty iron filings and blood orange. On the palate fine-meshed tannin, dark berries, then increasingly oaky, drying tannin in the back course, harsh on the finish, a pity.
