Intense, bright ruby colour with a flint garnet rim. Shows an emphatically savoury nose, of cloves, some wood, but also beautifully savoury. Very elegant on the palate, then opens up with dense tannins, surrounded by sweet texture, savoury, very compact, great length, but unusually full of wood savouriness this year, very long.
