Intense, flint garnet red colour. Opens on the nose with pronounced savoury notes of cardamom and aniseed, then ripe plums and blackberries. Dense, rich tannins on the palate, earthy notes, then lots of dark berry fruit, still a little rough, best forgotten in the cellar for the next five years, will then be a great pleasure.
