It is a wine made from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A wonderful savouriness on the nose underpins the lively lemon notes with wild thyme that also has an ethereal quality. The body is lean and foams briskly, but with gentle bubbles that highlight the wonderful contrast of freshness and ripeness. A phenolic vein provides an upright backbone. Very elegant.
