The white wine Chardonnay S trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Geheimer Rat Dr. von Bassermann-Jordan has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Very restrained oak, oats, but also some chalk dust, and citric to yellow fruit aromas, tangerine. Silky on the palate for a brief moment, then powerfully tactile mineral, also a firm phenolic drive, rich Chardonnay, at the very beginning of its life.
