Aromas of Williams pear, quince jelly, roasted banana, pineapple, smoked bacon, fennel seeds and rye toast. On the palate, the wine effortlessly carries the marked dosage, emphasises the oily texture and tickles the plump, savoury flavours without being sticky. Whether enjoyed on its own or with cheese, this is a successful crémant that deserves an extra point for originality.
