The red wine Neromaccari Nero d'Avola, vintage 2010 from the winery Gulfi has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Rich ruby with a shimmering violet hue. Complex and inviting nose, smells of dried tomatoes, fresh plums and blackberries, also sandalwood and pepper. Lots of juicy, present fruit on the palate, fresh and crisp, then opens up with fine-grained tannins, salty and persistent on the finish.
