The red wine Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Gulfi has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Frappato from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright ruby red with brightening on the rim. Wild berries, cinnamon, fresh raspberries, a touch of blood orange, rosehip and cold smoke on the nose. The palate has a sweet texture, plus crisp, racy acidity, very precise and fragrant, with floral hints, salty notes, lively acidity on the finish, exciting!
