The red wine Pinò Terre Siciliane Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Gulfi has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Sicily in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red. The nose is clearly marked with notes of cranberry confit, cinnamon pepper, ginger, herbal tea, plus some dried tomato, wild berries, gentle smoky and earthy tones round out the bouquet. The palate has pronounced fruit, embedded in tightly woven salty tannins, plus fine spice, energetic and hearty.
