The red wine Nerojbleo Rosso Sicilia DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Gulfi has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
It has a rich and dense ruby purple colour. On the nose there are aromas of ripe cherry and elderberry, as well as some cardamom. It is very juicy on the palate, and unfolds with an almost light-footed dance. It has fine tannins, and is currently drinking very nicely.
