It has ripe fruit aromas on the nose, with notes of raspberry, sour cherry and redcurrant, as well as spicy smoky notes, a hint of liquorice, and a freshly cut oak character. There is a freshness on the palate, with nice juiciness, a well-integrated acidity, fine tannins, and plenty of red berry fruit and cherry. It is long, and it has a lively finish with an elegant minerality.
