Tasting Notes
In a magnum. Smoky oak, peppery notes, and sour grape. Powerful tannins, virile and grainy but not astringent, lots of juiciness, ripe acidic fruit that remains rather defensive. It is a tough nut that will take years to mellow.
More about the tastingSmoky wood note. Powerful palate, drying with grainy tannins, firmly extracted, subtle acidity, dense, still difficult to assess, extremely rich in substance, accompanied by dark berries, can develop well, albeit more in a power than elegance pattern.
