The red wine Campo Leòn Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Ilatium Morini has been rated in 2015 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Deep, bright ruby with a slight garnet edge. Very accessible and intense nose, opens with notes of peach compote, then lots of wild raspberry and blueberry, clearly marked, underpinned by light tobacco notes. Plays big on the palate, unfolds velvety and smooth, lots of dark berryish fruit, dense tannin, nicely embedded, finishing with liquorice.
