Vigorous, dark purple colour. Enormously expressive on the nose with hints of black berries, blackberries, black pepper, noticeable, well-integrated roasted aromas and smoky notes. Powerful attack on the palate, sturdy, fine-grained, ripe tannins, juicy acidity, lightly smoky aromatics. Long finish with mineral accompaniment. Impressive wine with ageing potential.
