Smoked bacon, tobacco, leather, cherries and bay leaf, all spice all mingling on the nose. It's smoky-sweet in the mouth, with a pithy structure built on firm but fine tannins and a delicate acidity. It's powerful, with a long finish marked by some delicate spice and fine fruit.
