Rich, impenetrable ruby violet. Very intense and clear nose of mint, then fresh blackcurrants, tobacco in the background. Smooth in attack and progression, initially somewhat restrained, lots of fresh fruit, then opens up with lots of dense, soft tannins at the core, builds up over a long time, juicy and long in the finish.
