The red wine Achelo Syrah Cortona DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery La Braccesca has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark ruby purple. Distinctly spicy on the nose, with notes of pepper, cherries, marzipan and plum confit, with a milk chocolate background. Hearty on the palate, full, with a certain juiciness, mouth-filling and with slightly perceptible acidity and tannin in the finish, minimal dryness.
