The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio Abate DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery La Poderina has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, intense ruby. Rich aromas of vanilla and ripe plums, underpinned by Amarena cherry compote. On the palate, smooth and clean, fine texture and careful use of oak. A delight to drink and overall very harmonious.
