The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery La Poderina has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red colour with a brighter rim. Delicate fruits on the nose, reminiscent of raspberries, followed by some violets and lactic notes. Beautiful herbal savouriness on the palate, ripe tannins, animating acidity, and a medium-long, animating finish.
